DAY 10: INSPIRE ME TO INSPIRE YOU
Day 10, running across America 70 miles per day. We're going to test it out today and make sure we don't go beyond the point of not allowing the bronchitis to continue to heal. It's going to be an interesting attempt. We'll see how that goes. Try to walk in that fine line of pushing forward while also letting the virus do what it needs to do. The antibiotics really aren't going to help the virus, of course. That's to help prevent it from getting worse. Steroids should help keep my lungs clear.
Obviously, it's sounding better. I am feeling better, which is amazing. And probably now is a good time to really just say thank you to all of you. I am seeing all of your comments online, either directly or indirectly through crew. So I am seeing them all and really, really appreciate the continued support and caring words and inspiration, which actually may be an ask to all of you.
On the website, there's a page called Inspiration / Contact. One, to contact us is if you have any questions. Some folks, especially as we get closer to the east, I know are interested in meeting up to run for a bit. That's a good place that crew will start to monitor. But in particular, the inspiration board has two facets.
It's really tied to the cycle of "Inspire Me to Inspire You" because that should be an endless loop. If you inspire me, I inspire you, then you inspire someone else, they inspire you, and so on. And there are two ways that you can post perhaps something I'm inspiring you to do from this journey. You can share it only with us if you don't want to share it publicly. You can also share it with the rest of the world, and it will be posted on our webpage. You don't have to leave your name. You have a choice to create a new name. But I'd love to hear your story and what particular actions you may be taking that this has inspired you to do that you hadn't done previously. We'd love to hear from you.
So go to the inspiration section. There are two places where you could post that. We'd love to see it. We're off for day 10.
